Shaun Cassidy My Teen Idol

As a tween, Shaun Cassidy was my one and only teen idol! I remember writing a fan letter and waiting for the mail to come! Just hearing his songs play on my record player or watching an episode of The Hardy Boys could make all of my troubles go away! What I wouldn't do for those simpiler times! Without Shaun, my little tween world would have been a little less happy!

Steve Tesich on the set of Four Friends circa 1980

I took this photo of Steve Tesich while working as an extra on the film FOUR FRIENDS. So young and naive, I had no idea the greatness that was around me. Arthur Penn, Ghislain Cloquet and Steve Tesich, and now they are all gone.

Steve Tesich was a screenwriter, playwright and novelist. He is best known for the movie Breaking Away (1979). He won a "Best Original Screenplay" Academy Award for that movie.

Captain Hook's Ship at Disneyland circa 1970

Our Disneyland Vacation from July 1970. I'm posing on Captain Hook's Ship and sporting a Chicago Cubs hat. I have not yet found any photos of me in "Tomorrowland", which was the most awesome part of Disneyland back in those days.

Diapers go better with Coca-Cola

My sister and I in the summer. I think it's our grandfather's hand I'm holding though it could be our Dad's. Dig that Pepsi bottle she is holding! A 3 year old holding a glass bottle! Oh my! Oh NO! Someone call the authorities!

Christmas 1965: Texaco Toy Fire Chief Helmet

Even at six years old I knew how to impress the young ladies, use funny hats and technology. I'm sporting the Texaco Toy Fire Chief Eagle Helmet with a working microphone and spreaker. You could buy these at Texaco Gas Stations back in the mid-sixties.

Texaco's slogan: "You can trust your car to the man who wears the star"
