1969: My Funky Pant Suit and a Historic Moon Landing

Looking at this photo you might think my memory would be about that funky pant suit I'm wearing. But the real memory that immediately comes to mind is about that TV.
I watched the first moon landing back in 1969 on that TV. I can remember sitting on the floor in front of that very TV with my parents sitting behind me in their favorite chairs. All of us watching as Walter Cronkite reported on history being made. Back in 1969 landing on the moon was the kind of stuff fantasy was made of and live TV coverage was rare. Back then the future looked all flying cars and moving picture telephones.
